Did you know that Bentley’s Grill is now offering wine flights? Wine flights, also known as “tasting flights”, are a chance to explore your palate and sample a variety of wines in one setting. Think of it like a mini wine tasting party, right at your table.
Our wine steward likes to present flights from some of our favorite vintners and the selections are always changing. At least one of the flights is usually chosen in conjunction with our Wednesday Wine Tasting, an ongoing wine tasting event featuring local wineries every other Wednesday.
Wine flights offer a great alternative for anyone having a difficult time just choosing one wine and enhances the dining experience. Purchasing the flights with your dinner is a great way to try new wines, either from a varietal that is unfamiliar to you, or produced from a winery that doesn’t see as much exposure. Our flights range in price but are generally around the cost of a single glass pour.
Some of our past flights have includes Trinity Pinots, Chandon “Sweet Cuvee”, 2011 Silvan Ridge Semi-sparkling Muscat, Namaste Vineyards 2012 “Peace” White Blend, 2011 Purple Hands Willamette Valley, 2009 Seufert Vista hills, 2011 Haden Fig Bjornson Vineyard, and more.
So what’s on the menu now? You’ll just have to come and find out!
Ask your server about “A bottle among friends” every Thursday! This is another great way to try new wines for a discounted price. It also comes with a complimentary appetizer!
