Pinot Noir
Notoriously difficult and expensive to grow, this wonderful grape has become the preeminent Oregon red wine. Wines from our own Willamette Valley in particular have garnered accolades from around the world. Our list is designed to showcase all of our local products. Oregon Pinot Noirs usually have aromas and flavors of red fruits, including cherries, berries and red currants. Some dried fruit flavors can be found in our more full bodied versions. These wines have moderate amounts of French oak flavors and soft to moderate tannins. Match with red meats, game birds, rich seafood dishes and tomato based sauces. Less than 500 cases of some of these wines are produced each year and allocations can be as little as 6 bottles, so selection may change daily.
Listed from lightest to fullest in body, flavors
and ripeness.
