We announced last month that we are expanding on the “Featured Pinot Noir” concept and have made some changes the wine by the glass program here at Bentley’s Grill. Instead of featuring just one Oregon Pinot Noir we will now be featuring at least two; as well as at least two stunning white wines and at least three full bodied, dark fruited reds from around the Northwest.
Starting Thursday, September 16 we will be pouring the 2008 Cristom Mt. Jefferson Cuvee Pinot Noir. The wine is a blend of twelve different vineyard sites with about 25% usually coming from the four estate vineyards.
This wine is the first to be released from each vintage and can be a bit of a crystal ball looking forward to the Reserve and the four single vineyard wines. This wine shows plenty of black raspberry and dark cherry fruits, barrel spice, vanilla and touch of dried flower aromas. Medium to full bodied on the palate finishing with a bit of “zip” from the acidity and soft tannins. It will be poured for at least two weeks and join the other three Oregon Pinot Noirs we pour by the glass.
Please check out the new “Featured Wines” section of the beverage menu at your table. As always, we would love to hear your feedback! Feel free to leave your comments here or on our Facebook page! Cheers!
