Bentley’s Grill Wine Steward Mark Jacklich is continuing his studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers through 2012. In addition, he plans to spend a lot of time working with Jim Bernau’s team at Willamette Valley Vineyards and learn more about the process from grapes to wine full circle. Mark is eager to share his knowledge with you in an educational series we call: Wine Notes with Mark. Enjoy!
We are excited to announce that Bentley’s Grill is now offering wine flights!
Wine flights, also known as “tasting flights”, are a chance to explore your palate and sample a variety of wines in one setting. Think of it like a mini wine tasting party, right at your table.
Our wine flights include three two-ounce pours of different wines, and each has a description of the wine included.
So far, our guests have been loving the flights because they offer a great alternative for anyone having a hard time just choosing one wine. Now, you can enjoy different varieties of wines throughout the course of your dining experience.
Purchasing the flights are also a great way to taste some new intriguing wines, either from a varietal that is unfamiliar to you, or produced from a winery that doesn’t see as much exposure. Our flights range in price but are generally around the cost of a single glass pour. We can’t wait to have you in to try our new flights, come see what I’ve included tonight!
